Leadership in this process isn’t just important; it's vital—especially in self-organizing communities moving beyond traditional hierarchical structures. You might have all the right skills and intentions, yet without embodied coherence, unconscious patterns of relating will surface, subtly (or not-so-subtly) undermining the thriving culture you're trying to create.
The regenerative potential of a community is directly tied to your own well-being as a leader. If you're burning yourself out trying to carry the load alone, the entire community is unsustainable. A truly regenerative community begins with holding the regenerative relationship with yourself with impeccable integrity.
In this Regenerative Leadership Initiation, you’ll gain practical skills, yes— clearer communication, deeper confidence in navigating conflict generatively, and decision-making processes that allow you to structure the community wisely. But the primary value here is beyond any particular skill acquisition. It's the context we co-create together. You'll experience firsthand how sovereignty and interdependence dance intricately to form dynamic, coherent communities. You'll practice navigating conflict and tension in ways that deepen intimacy, trust, and authenticity.

I've iterated community in many forms, from virtual communities to land-based living, consistently inviting healthy complexity and tension in ways that allow the communities and individuals to grow and change over time. There are many people who can advise you in designing the physical and legal infrastructure for regenerative community, but this offering illuminates the invisible social architecture that really invites thriving of the human and more-than-human members.

After numerous community experiments, the thing that really activated the community I knew was possible was cultivating a robust gift consciousness. Our Community Leadership Initiation begins with three consecutive calls from April 25–27, 10 AM–12 noon ET. Live attendance is highly encouraged; recordings available within 48 hours. We then meet weekly on Saturdays (May 3, 10, 17) from 10:00 AM–12:30 PM ET. Between sessions, you'll have additional experiential practices and one-on-one connections to deepen your integration. We'll also feature special guest speakers and community leaders sharing their lived experiences. All activities are consent-based, and you're encouraged to play here in whatever way feels regenerative to you.
An active Telegram group supports ongoing dialogue, reflections, and resource sharing. Additionally, you'll receive a personalized mentorship call with Jon or me (your choice) to explore your individual insights and challenges.

Carry wisdom or mastery in at least one dimension of life, ready to share this gift within a collective space. For example: self-directed learning, self-organizing systems, regenerative food systems, regenerative building/housing/living, conscious culture creation, art, technology, meditation or spiritual practice, etc...

About Me
I’m Keri Shinn, passionately cultivating communities for over 15 years. Currently, I'm thriving in a self-organizing land-based community which emerged around a self-directed learning center my family co-founded with others who started as strangers and quickly became collaborators and soul family. I've facilitated transformational community-building globally, from virtual groups such as "Life, Liberated" and "Conflict as a Pathway to Liberation," to Agile Learning Facilitator trainings in northern Uganda and social infrastructure development at Ecovilla San Mateo in Costa Rica.
I'm a devoted student of life, continually learning from and with my four self-directed children and my husband Jonathan, who contributes decades of executive leadership and grounded wisdom to our offerings.
